SRPMIC- Education Divisions
The Problem
Parents have a growing reliance on tech-based communication. Research shows digital outreach can help parents stay informed, become more involved at the school level, and be in a better place to help with kids' schoolwork—all these factors drive better student performance.
As the primary means of communication for families, the SRPMIC school and district websites were missing new technologies and in need of a new website along with a mobile app to keeping the community families informed and engaged.

Fact
The message alert system on the mobile app reduced course failures by 28%, and increased class attendance by 12%.

The solution
A survey was made to our current families to determine their needs, create a user impact study, sitemaps developed a better user experience and create an outreach strategy.
I was able to collaborate and establish a brand visual identity with the message alert system at the community level. I presented the mobile app that was to help with bus schedules, school communications, and automatically send emergency notifications.
